Pertemuan Minggu Ke-2 PWL
Tidak terasa sudah masuk ke pertemuan kedua dari mata kuliah Pemrograman Web Lanjut. pada pertemuan kedua yang lalu, materi yang dibahas masih mengenai perkenalan tentang web.

Perkenalan meliputi Tool-tool yang digunakan untuk membuat web dinamis serta pengetahuan tentang Domain dan Hosting.


Sebenarnya ada banyak tool yang bisa kita gunakan untuk membuat web dinamis, tapi akan merepotkan juga jika kita harus memasangnya satu per satu. Oleh karena itu Pak Widhiarta menganjurkan kami memakai tool yang sudah memiliki beberapa fungsi sekaligus guna mempermudah pembuat web dinamis, Tool tersebut bernama XAMPP.

Mungkin banyak diantara kalian yang sudah mengenal tool yang satu ini, XAMPP memang sudah terkenal dalam dunia web sebagai tool yang lengkap untuk membuat web dinamis. Fungsi-fungsi yang dimilikinya antara lain:


1. Aplikasi Web Server: Apache, fungsinya sebagai pengganti simulasi web server pada komputer untuk menjalankan file .php yang kita tulis.
2. Aplikasi DBMS My SQL, fungsinya sebagai pengolah database web dinamis yang kita buat.
3. Aplikasi FileZilla, fungsinya untuk melakukan tranformasi (upload dan download) file dari komputer lokal  ke Web Server
4. Aplikasi Tom Cat, untuk yang berhubungan dengan JSP (Mungkin?).
5. Aplikasi Mercury, untuk yang berhubungan Mail Server.

Segitu aja deh mengenai XAMPP-nya untuk lebih jelasnya kalian bisa cari sendiri di internet coz saya juga masih Newbie soal Web. lol.....

Ok, selanjutnya kita bahas sedikit mengenai domain dan hosting.


Salah satu hal yang penting dalam membuat Web adalah menentukanWeb Domain apa yang akan kita gunakan untuk Web yang kita buat. Sebelum itu kita harus tahu dulu apakah domain itu? dan apa pula fungsinya bagi web? Mari kita sama belajar.

Ada banyak pengertian & fungsi domain, namun disini saya akan mengambil satu saja yang saya kira mudah dipahami.

"Domain adalah suatu nama berformat huruf abjad (a,b,c,d,e,dan seterusnya) dan angka (1,2,3,dan seterusnya) serta simbol (-)untuk menamai alamat url website untuk mengidenfitikasi sebagai pengganti format deretan angka alamat IP client server hosting tempat file website diletakkan."

Contoh : misal alamat IP server tempat file web kita disimpan adalah 77.165.90.89 sebenarnya kita bisa saja mengetikkan 77.165.90.89 langsung di browser untuk mengakses website kita, namun hal ini tentunya sangat tidak baik bagi ingatan orang khususnya ingatan pengunjung website yang mengakses website kita. Sehingga fungsi domain lebih untuk mudahkan orang mengingat sebuah nama url dibanding deretan deretan angka IP. Untuk itu diperlukan domain guna mengganti deretan angka tersebut agar menjadi deretan kata yang tentunya gampang diingat. misal:namadomain.com akan lebih mudah diingat ketimbang angka 218.719.51.617

Domain terbagi menjadi 2 tipe:

1. Top level Domain/Domain International = Domain yang terletak di akhir/diujung alamat Web/URL.
Contohnya:
.com. untuk web yang bersifat komersil
.net. untuk web yang bersifat jaringan.
.info. untuk web yang bersifat informasi.
.org. untuk web yang besifat organisasi
.(kode negara). untuk menandakan asal negara suatu alamat web.
.xxx. untuk web yang mengandung konten dewasa.
.biz. untuk bisnis.
dan Top level domain lainya.

2. Sub level Domain
Domain yang terletak sebelum Top level Domain. Fungsi dari Sub level Domain sendiri tidak jauh berbeda dengan Top Level Domain, yaitu untuk menerangkan sifat suatu alamat web. Kebanyakan Sub level Domain memiliki Top level Domain sebuah negara. Sebagai contoh kita ambil Top level Domain negara Indonesia yaitu: " .id ".
" .id " memiliki banyak Sub level Domain diantara nya: .co.id, web.id, go.id, ac.id, dan lain sebagainya.

Dalam menentukan Domain suatu web harus menyesuaikan beberapa hal, diantaranya:
1. Isi dari web yang kita buat.
2. Sasaran web yang kita buat.

Oh, iya. lupa ngasih tau. Domain itu kebanyakan berbayar. Artinya, kalo mau pakai domain tertentu kita harus membayar sejumlah uang untuk bisa memakainya.

Hal lain yang tidak kalah penting adalah Web Hosting.

Hosting adalah tempat atau jasa internet untuk membuat halaman website yang telah anda buat menjadi online dan bisa diakses oleh orang lain. Sedangkan Hosting Itu Sendiri Adalah : jasa layanan internet yang menyediakan sumber daya server-server untuk disewakan sehingga memungkinkan organisasi atau individu menempatkan informasi di internet berupa HTTP, FTP, EMAIL atau DNS.
Server hosting terdiri dari gabungan server-server atau sebuah server yang terhubung dengan jaringan internet berkecepatan tinggi.

Hosting  memiliki beberapa jenis layanan hosting yaitu shared hosting, VPS atau Virtual Private Server, dedicated server, Reseller hosting.

1. Shared Hosting adalah menggunakan server hosting bersama sama dengan pengguna lain satu server dipergunakan oleh lebih dari satu nama domain. Artinya dalam satu server tersebut terdapat beberapa account yang dibedakan antara account satu dan lainnya dengan username dan password.
2. VPS, Virtual Private Server, atau juga dikenal sebagai Virtual Dedicated Server merupakan proses virtualisasi dari lingkungan software sistem operasi yang dipergunakan oleh server. Karena lingkungan ini merupakan lingkungan virtual, hal tersebut memungkinkan untuk menginstall sistem operasi yang dapat berjalan diatas sistem operasi lain.
3. Dedicated Server adalah penggunaan server yang dikhususkan untuk aplikasi yang lebih besar dan tidak bisa dioperasikan dalam shared hosting atau virtual dedicated server. Dalam hal ini, penyediaan server ditanggung oleh perusahaan hosting yang biasanya bekerja sama dengan vendor.
4. Reseller Hosting, maksudnya hostingan yang bisa dijual kembali.

Difference Between Love And Lust

1. Love is joyful, lust is harmful
The real love always show the way/direction to happiness for those who walk on it. A lover who has find and understand the meaning of true love in itself will be in a happy condition

If likened a relationship is like rice field, then love is rice and lust is a weed. Well, when someone planted rice (love) in the field (connection) automatically grow a weed (lust). If the person already knows and understands what it is rice (what love is), then he would immediately cut the weeds (lust) that grow in their fields (relationships). When harvest time comes, people will reap their fields (relationships) that are planted with rice (love) it was in the form of pieces of rice (happiness). Others with people who think weed as rice (love). They will keep the weeds (lust) plants and rice (love) will die. At the time of harvest, they can only get a sack of weed (lust) which is not good to eat (disappointment).
